Ten Grains Rice


Today is my first day of start eating rice..
It has been 2 to 3 months i didn't eat rice that cooked by mom....
cos i always only take the veggie...

Yesterday we went to the organic shop at Pulau Tikus..
I found this Ten Grain Rice which i watch on the television show before that this kind of rice is very healthy compare to white rice...



There are many benefits of this ten grains rice:

-A good source of dietary fibre

-Control Obesity

-Reduce risk in diabetes and beri-beri

-Protection against Atherosclerosis

-Trace of nutrition

-Non-Allergic-Free from gluten


The main ingredients of this rice is :

Mountain Red Rice, Mountain Black Rice, Organice Barley, Organic Brown Rice, Organice Buckwheat, Organice Flex Seed, Organic Millet, Organice Rye Grain, Organic Sorghum, Organic Oatgoat, Cornmeal.

The after cooked ten grains rice is like this...

my mom steamed it and it looked a bit of too much moist...

haha..cos my mom don't know how to estimate the amount of water added..

since she cooked it for me only...

It tastes just like normal white rice but this one need more chewing since it contains high fibre...

i can taste the "healthy sense" in my mouth..haha...

  2. oh...that day u ate one is Somali Rice 糙米 which is just a type of rice...
    This one is Ten Grains Rice consisting of ten different things..Both of them are different...:P
