Happy Birthday Mom...

31st of August....

National Day as well as my Mom's Birthday...

This year...we had a cake from Ritz cake house at Tanjung Tokong,

the Prima Tanjung opposite Island Plaza...

Green Tea cake...Famous one in Penang...

Specially ordered for my mom's birthday celebration...

I guess she will like it....^^

So delightful to see the cake...

ah...can't wait to try it...

Inside got some red bean paste...

my parents they like it so much..

they said it isn't too sweet and is very soft and smooth...

"Thumbs Up!!!"

Next time gonna ordered from there if got any celebrations..

and we had zhu cha at Feng Wei Restaurant...

So bad, i forget to take the photo of the dishes as we are too hungry to eat them all..

and i got some random shot at E&O hotel...

Feel so happy about tonight...

i guess my Mom is happy too!!!

I can't go morning walk again...

Nothing wrong with the weather...

The weather is well in the morning...

What happen is...

My car back window broke by my dad...@.@

Hard to believe that..

since he drives so many years already..

Shouldn't make this kind of mistake...

as he always told me like that when i met accident..

Now your turn dad...Blehz..

So what to do...

Sunday got to stay at home...

Car is sent to repair...hiaz...

This afternoon i was going to make myself a juice as my lunch...^^

This mix fruit juice recipe i learned it my friend..

and i found it very nutricious too...

This juice consists of Celery, Cucumber, Carrot, Beets, and Apple...

and blend all of them together...

This is my first time to try beet roots..

and i like it so as my mom...

Beets have valuable nutritional benefits:

Beets are loaded with vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and C. The greens have a higher content of iron compared to spinach. They are also an excellent source of calcium, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, sodium and iron.
While the sweet beet root has some of the minerals in its greens to a lesser degree, it is also a remarkable source of chlorine, folic acid, iodine, manganese, organic sodium, potassium, fiber and carbohydrates in the form of natural digestible sugars.
Its iron content, though not high, is of the highest and finest quality that makes excellent food that is blood building. This renders it highly effective in treating many ailments caused by our toxic environment and surrounding.

However, beets cannot consume too much,

especially if your body is not yet accustomed to it.

This delicious juice is so potent that it may cause some

dizziness during cleansing as toxins are being eliminated.

No wonder i feel a bit dizzy..

so better to drink more water to eliminate the toxin...

I feel like i'm drinking blood...

See the reddish color of this drink...

But the taste is good...

I enjoy drinking this juice while writing this blog..haha

Young Heart Restaurant

Long time never meet my friend...

Today i finally free for my schedule..

and we decided to get a place to yum cha and chit chat ...

First place in my mind is Young Heart Restaurant at Pulau Tikus...

and both of us never went there, just know it from

newspaper and some food blogs..

So, we decided to go have a look^^

The place is very cozy and kind of homing style...

All the food served there is more towards healthy meal..

The menu is quite special and informative as well...

Under the title of the dish, there got stated the benefit of the dish...

and there are variety of dish as well...

I felt that the dishes are quite attractive to me ..

as it looks very healthy and very suitable for diet conscious people like me...

Mix fruit juice~Balsam Pear, Orange, and Lime..

Why i can't see any orange color in this juice??! Since my friend requested that don't want to add any sugar...so the taste is not very strong, more to natural sweetness

Unagi Spring Rolls...

It gives me the feel of Vietnamease style of spring roll

from its transparent outer layer with fresh veggie fillings inside...

It can eat with the Thai style source..

Less oil and simply fresh!!!

White color Sweet Corn??!

Corn uses to be be my main staple for the past few months..

and i never get bored of eating this...

I just steamed it and already can taste the natural sweetness of the corn...

Simply delicious!!!

Although it's simple for some people..

i'm statisfied with it no matter how...^^

Yesterday my father bought the corns from the market...

My first time in my life to see this type of "Sweet Corn"...

White color one...@.@

Last time all i ate one is Pearl Sweet Corn..

which is white and yellow randomly ...

And this is just totally white ...

Hmmp...All yellow one i know that is the normal type of corn...

But this ....Can anyone tell me what is this??

What type of corn is this..

Boleh makan tak?? Sedap kah??

Ok ...since my dad only bought me this...

So, i got to eat this the only i have..

I steamed it...my dad said this corn, the aroma is nicer...

"Got meh..." All is the same for me...

After i ate it...hmmp..

this one not so nice as it is not so richful...

I still prefer the Pearl Sweet Corn...

Portraits~~Beach...

Yesterday i was saying that today i'm going to post

my portrait photos at the beach..

This photo session is almost cancelled by the unconsistent weather...

It was raining in the morning...

Soon after that the weather turned nice again..

But in the evening...

Suddenly some areas became so cloudy and so windy...

We thought that this time sure cancel again since the weather is so bad...

and yet so windy...blow until my hair like crazy..@.@

At first, we went to the jetty and plan to walk on the

wooden bridge to get a panaromic view...

but it was close ...and the weather was not so convincing

although it hasn't rain yet..

we quickly drive down the beach to search for some spot

which is not so cloudy one..

and finally we reached here...

Tanjung Bungah beach...

I forget which one already...haha..

And there got some huge rocks, so can add in the background..

but the view not so idea like the spot we plan to go..

Anyhow...it's better than totally cancel the photo session...

And we got some nice photos to share ...:P

Overall, i was satisfied with all the photos taken and after filtering...

I like it so much!!!

Annabelle's Place...

Today is the photo shooting day...

We went to Tanjung Bungah beach for the shooting...

It's around evening...

The weather is so unconsistent today....

Started with raining in the morning..

We thought that this time sure couldn't make it again...sighz..

But after that, the sky turned blue and nice again...

Sun reappeared and shined again...

So, plan still moved on...

Well...the photo shooting details will talk more in the next blog :p

This blog i would like to post about this cozy English style tea house...

We went there after photo and had our dinner...

I always wonder how to get to this place...

It seems like hidden somewhere ...

and i always pass by Tanjung Bungah also didn't see this shop before...

Today i finally know where is it..

It's some where near Tarc College which is located inside a residence area, Lembah Permai...

There was a row of shop lots where many restaurants was there too..

like Sushi Cafe, Blue Reefs restaurant, Torch Bar & Bistro...

Bla bla bla...Still got some of them..i forgotten the name already..

I wonder such a nice place do many people know this??!

Somehow it's was so deep inside...hmmp..

It is nearby Tarc College...

i guess there would be a lot of college students visit there..

I like the environment...

It gives me the cozy, comfortable feeling...

The chair, the wall paper, the decorations make it so lovely...like it!!

It is nice to have a tea time at there...This will be wonderful i guess...

They have the delicious scones..ahh..

Too bad i didn't try it today cos it's already dinner time...

may be come at next time afternoon...

I had this Tuna Nichoise...

A Tuna sandwich and some fresh salad...

The bread is crispy of the outside...Overall..the sandwich is not bad...

And the drink is the chococinno...

Hot chocolate drink...hmmp...

nice i love it...but too little...

On top was all the bubble which is almost occupy 1 per 3 of the cup ....

My friend had the Fish and Chip...

and the drink is cold chocolate drink...

sort of ice-blended chocolate drink...

cute glass ...it was a shoe!!!

Overall, the food and service is not bad...

and not much people come at night...i guess may be is weekdays..

Can try this place for the tea break...

But it's so far...hmmp...

I wonder i will come back again next time???....
