Bukit Tambun ~ Restaurant Jetty

Long time never go to Bukit Tambun have seafood...
The last time i went here was about ages ago...
That was my grandmother birthday...
and now she passed away already...

There are quite a number of seafood restaurant...
Most of them serve taste really good dishes...
but somehow the prices are a lot of different...
Some their prices can really chop people off...
We went to this Restaurant Jetty which is at the end of the road...
Previously, we went to the one next to it..
but then there are really many of people..
we couldn't wait any longer since whole day of hunger..
so we decided to choose this...

As you can see it's located along the river and there are numbers of fish boat..
Providing fresh seafood for the restaurant everyday...

Outside of the restaurant sold satay too...
It taste good but they didn't provide the peanut satay gravy...
that girl said it's already whipped on top of the satay...
"Got meh ??!!" from the outlook didn't see any sign of it...

Fresh coconut drink...

Clay Pot Taufu..

Curry Sotong...

Fry Veggie with Salty Fish

Tomyam Fish...
Don't what kind of fish is that...
It tasts and looks like stingray...

And the last but not least...
CRABS..
It's a must to order crab dish at Tambun...
We still prefer it to be steamed and some more
won't dirty our clothes while eating...

Before going back...
we saw people selling assorted jelly at outside of the restaurant...
so colorful and temptating..

We choose this...inside have some filling..

Overall, the dinner is satisfying..
the price is reasonable too...
The dishes tasted good and big portion as well...
I wonder when will be the next time i come back here again...
Another ages??

~~Enjoy~~

Ingolf Kneipe Tanjung Bungah

Ingolf Kneipe, here i came again...
This is my second visit to here...
so miss the mushroom soup, simply taste good!!!
We had a 0.5litre of German Beer...
Kinda tall and big class of Beer...awh...
So long never had beer already...simply refreshing!!!

Forgot what is the name of this soup, it is added some wine...not bad

My favourite Mushroom Soup...

Pork and Chicken Hawaii Dish...
On the top is a piece of Bacon, the following one is the pineapple
with melted cheese, ham, chicken and pork...
and some mashed potato , garden salad..
Not bad but i don't really like the pork...
so fat and yet the texture is so hard..

And the German Sausage...
Two huge Sausages really can kill people...
Extremely full after having this dish...
we agreed that the gravy of this dish is a bit salty...
perhaps this is how the German food tastes..

Next time if want to come here again on weekend night...
don't forget to call in and book in advanced...
most of the time...
here is fully booked and not enough table of for those not booking...

Egg Tarts...

Last Sunday I had Pandan Egg Tart as my breakfast...
Totally in love with it...
Today i decided to make on my own...
my target is to make 30 of it...
But end up...i make 60 of them!!!!
Really exhausting and tiring work...
Cos need to make the pastry on the mould one by one
and i only got 10 moulds...
so ended up, i need to wait for every bath while
my hand still wearing on the gloves with all the butter mixture stick on it..
It's just gross and i can't simply touch on anything
else there will be ants everywhere...

The egg tarts i made for today are the normal and Pandan flavour...
I more prefer to the Pandan flavour as i like the fragrance of Pandan ...
The aroma just so temptating!!!

Here is the recipe for Egg Tart:

Pastry
  1. 1 cup of icing sugar
  2. 1 cup of butter
  3. 3 cups of flour
  4. 1 eggs, beaten
  5. 1 drop of vanilla essence
Custard
  1. 2/3 cup of custor sugar
  2. 9 eggs , beaten
  3. 1 cup of fresh milk
For the Pandan Egg Tart, the ingredients is slightly different:

Pastry
  1. 250g of butter
  2. 50g of sugar
  3. 1/4 salt
  4. 1 egg, beaten
  5. 360g of plain flour
  6. 1 drop of vanilla essence
Custard
  1. 100ml of hot water
  2. 80g of sugar
  3. 50g of Pandan Juice
  4. 50g of fresh milk
  5. 3 eggs, beaten
  6. 1 drop of green colouring
Method:

(1) For pastry: beat butter and icing sugar till well-mixed.
(2) Add in white and yolk and mix.
(3) Add in vanilla essence and then the flour and mix into a dough. Rest for 10 mins. Press dough into small tart moulds.
(4) Bake the tart shell till half-cooked.
(5) For egg custard, heat sugar and milk together. Once sugar dissolves, off heat.
(6) Whisk eggs and pour into the milk mixture. Do not whisk till frothy.
(7) Add in vanilla essence.
(8) Sift the egg custard and pour into tart moulds and bake at 180C till egg custard sets.

Note:
Half baked should be around 10 mins at 180C. I didn't put the timing cos everybody's oven is different. Judge yourself and see that it's like puff up slightly and turned white.

After pouring in the custard, bake at a lower shelf to make sure that the pastry will be cooked at 180C. Bake for about 10 mins and watch over it. If you see the custard is about to puff up into a ball, take it out from the oven immediately. Once it puffs up, the egg tart will wrinkle when it's cooled. What you can do is to shake the tray of egg tarts and if the custard wobbles, then it a sign that it's not cook and if it doesn't wobble, then it's set and you can take it out from the oven.

The Green one are Pandan and the normal type egg tartss

What a nightmare ...

Last night was not a good night for me....
Streamyx down...
no internet to use...
feel so lonely and boring...
So just get a book and study...
Right after that...
It's already midnight...
and i made a very wrong mistake...
Midnight hungry...awh...
and i had my supper...
Hell...i shouldn't have supper...
i swear i will not do it again...
seriously, supper will make you put on weight...
if you don't believe me...
you can weight yourself in the next morning...
Sucks Streamyx...
Or i just too depend on the internet already?!
Internet fills my life...lolxD...
No internet means no life?!
Yes or no??
when you are busy with other things and no time to browse and play,
the answer is yes...
when you are alone and nothing to do,
internet might be the good option to fills up you time..
where you no need to go out and accompanyment..
At least, i realize something and must think of some way to remedy it...

Final Destination...

Upon the released of
"Final Destination 4 Rest in Pieces"
I get to watch the 3 series from the past...
Starting from 2000,
The Plane Crash..

2003,You Can't Cheat Death Twice..

2006,This Ride Will Be The Death of You..

I like every of them...
Especially the part 3..
It makes me start to like this Final Destination Series..
The roller coaster ride let me think of the last ride i had at Times Square...
Really drives me nuts...
It wasn't scary for some people but not me...
i can't really scream my lungs out on top of that...
"AhhhhhhAhhh"

This weekend i watched this Final Destination 4..
I was so excited to wait for its released...
3 years after part 3...
Can't wait to watch it..
Can't wait to know how they face the death and so on...
And this time they have the 3D version...
hmmp...i don't think is necessary as it's much more expensive than normal one...
Those movie that are not specially made for 3D scene one is not much different with the one normal scene movie...
May be just a little bit of the 3D effect..
Those real 3D movie are kinda double shadows if you watch without wearing the spec..

Talk about the movie...
Hmmp...
Kinda disappointed seriously...
The animation is just too exagerated...
and gives the audiences a little bit of fake...
and this movie some how not too much of suspens and
the death scene just came suddenly and end for some parts..

Apple Cake

It has been a very long time i never bake cake
since the muffins that i make 2 months ago...
This week i decided to make my old time favourite..
Apple Cake...

It is very rare to find Apple Cake at any bakery outside..
i like this recipe...
as i like to make fruits as the natural ingredients in the cake...

The main ingredients :
  1. 200g Unsalted Butter
  2. 100g Margarine
  3. 200g caster sugar
  4. 1/4 tsp salt
  5. 4 Eggs
  6. 250g Plain Flour
  7. 1 tsp baking powder
  8. 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  9. 2 apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
  10. 50g raisins

Method:

  1. Grease and line the pan, preheat oven to 175 degree.
  2. Beat butter, margarine, sugar and salt until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  4. Fold in sifted flour, baking powder and cinnamon powder. Stir in apples and raisins. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  5. Bake in oven for 50 minutes or until cooked.

Beat the butter and sugar until it is white and fluffy...
Make sure the sugar is melt..

Mix all the ingredients together including all the flour, apple, baking powder, egg, cinnamon powder and raisin together.. The batter looked like this..

Put the batter in the pan that has already greased with butter at initially. Make sure the surface is spread evenly.

"TaDa" the cake is ready to serve...

The apple is melt in between the cake...and the apple cubic still can be tasted...

Nice!!... This cake is very easy to make and simple...

Take about 1.5 hours including baking time...

~~Enjoy~~
